As a Games Certification Systems Tester, you will be responsible for test case designing and development, test execution, bug and status reporting, analyzing test results and maintaining test environment. Sometimes, communicating the errors to software suppliers and tracking the error fixing progress as needed. Responsibilities:
As a QA Specialist-Games Software/Systems Verification at QA Labs, you will be responsible for assessing the quality of game/software applications for the Games Platform. You will be responsible for creating test strategies, formulating test cases, constructing test file/data suites, automating key test cases, executing existing testing procedures, identifying defects and problems that show up during testing, logging defects, producing clear defect reports and giving status of the test effort to the client.
You must understand and be adept with the different types of testing, the principles of Configuration Management, the principles of Quality Processes and the intricacies involved in a full-project life cycle. You must also be able to formulate a test estimate and schedule with a high degree of accuracy.
You will need to interface with clients, review test plans and other project documentation, implement quality goals, participate in post-mortems and analyze the results for future improvement.
Requirements:
A university graduate with a degree in computer science or related discipline
Software/systems integration and testing experience
Experience with C/C++, (Symbian programming would be plus)
Technical writing skills (good knowledge of the English language is mandatory)
Good technical knowledge of wireless/networking technologies (GSM, GPRS, TCP/IP etc)
Experience with test processes and testing tools
A "can-do" attitude and willing to take extra steps to get things done
