QA labs is looking for a Intermediate Tester working out of our client’s offices with the responsibility for testing one or more functional areas in the application and instrumental in the, design and execution of test cases for the web application as follows:
Requirements
Education
Completed post-secondary, preferably in Computer Science or related degree with emphasis on Sys Dev courses
QA Skills
Intermediate level QA skills and knowledge:
Strong knowledge of QA cycle
Strong knowledge of the Defect life cycle
2-3 years test case design experience
2-3 years test execution experience
Process orientation
Experience building test environments
Ability to swap and upgrade HW components
Ability to install and troubleshoot SW installations
Accustomed to working in large organization
Experience with:
Web based applications
VSS
Mercury Quality Center
Rational Clear Quest
Windows XP
Virtual Servers (VM ware)
Oracle DB’s and SQL (ability to write queries)
Comfort with:
Windows command line to run scripts
Graphical tools and jargon for image manipulation and processing
Experience with medical Imaging an asset
Experience in medical systems and terminology an asset.
