Sr. and Intermediate ETL Testers
General Roles(S), Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Participate in unit test design review meetings with developers and Lead Developer to better understand the ETL processes and functionality and identify test requirements and test coverage; Develop test designs (including test cases with expected results and effort estimates) from project requirements, design documentation and guidance from the Lead Developer; Create test data;
Conduct integration and system tests of the application, execute tests and report on the results; Report defect details in defect tracking system; Participate in defect review meetings with developers and clients.

Systematic approach to problems
Experience with structured testing processes
Meticulous in work created and carried out
Good interpersonal and written communication skills
Strong ability to organize and work quickly
Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle
Significant experience with SQL; Ability to understand and develop SQL scripts
Thorough understanding of Relational database structures
Experience with SQL Server 2000
Experience interpreting Source to Target Mappings
Desirable Skills, Knowledge And Experience:
DataStage Server and DataStage client tools (Director, Manager, Designer) - v6 or higher
Demonstrated experience in a Data Warehouse test role (ETL focus) in previous projects
Understanding of Star Schema (Dimensional) database structures
Understanding of automated ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, Data Integrator, etc, in particular interpreting the information in their logs
Experience using defect tracking system such as TestTrack Pro
Experience with DB2
