QA labs is looking for a Test Engineer Web Services with Java working out of our clients offices with the responsibility for testing one or more functional areas in the application and instrumental in the, design and execution of test cases for the web application as follows:
Requirements
Five (5) years Software Testing experience
- Two (2) years working experience in a similar business setting insurance, banking, government
- Solid background in testing methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites
- Solid understanding of the defect life cycle and the issues and sensitivities related to defect reporting
- Solid understanding of SDLC
- Self starter with ability to work independently and learn fast
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Three (3) years experience with testing web applications
- Three (3) years experience with testing web services and creating XML files
- Three (3) years experience with testing JAVA/J2EE applications
- Two (2) years experience with testing on a wide variety of technologies including Interactive Voice Recognition and Contact Centre Technology.
- Proficient in Office 2003 and various tools such as SQL editors
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Previous experience with the implementation of an heavily customized software package
- Experience with Computer Telephony Integration
