QA labs is looking for a Sr. Tester Web Services with .Net working out of our clients offices with the responsibility for testing one or more functional areas in the application and instrumental in the, design and execution of test cases for the web application as follows:
Requirements
Education
Completed post-secondary, preferably in Computer Science or related degree with emphasis on Sys Dev courses
QA Skills
Five (5) years Software Testing experience
Two (2) years working experience in a similar business activity insurance, banking, government
Solid background in testing methodologies and experience developing and executing comprehensive test suites
Solid understanding of the defect life cycle and the issues and sensitivities related to defect reporting
Solid understanding of SDLC
Self starter with ability to work independently and learn fast
Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
Three (3) years experience with testing web applications
Three (3) years experience with testing web services applications and creating XML files
Three (3) years experience with testing .Net applications
Two (2) years experience with SQL
Proficient in Office 2003 and various tools such as SQL editors
Desirable skills, knowledge and experience
Previous experience with the implementation of an heavily customized software package
